Tags
Both for the place in the process (inbox, processing, publish) and as a contextual category (tiered according to topic). Can be used as a pre-MOC layer. It is an intermediary step. They can be identified as such: ‘pre-MOC/topic’ can be used as a layered tag. Make sure you do not have any more than three layers, as recommended by AmpleNote. Graph view can be filtered by tag. Backlinking for direct connections, usually to a MOC Double tagging: use a tag to identify the context and one tag to track the stage the note it at. You must tag all of the notes for it to work. That is where the templater comes in.
Backups
Cloud sync, then every now and then, copy the vault to another cloud device, or physical device.
